Watch the local candidates in action this week.
Tomorrow (Tuesday, May 17) at noon, the Timmins Chamber is hosting a debate for the Timmins candidates in the Ontario election.
Incumbent NDP Gilles Bisson and PC candidate George Pirie are participating. The Chamber used the Elections Ontario reimbursement of expenses criteria as the guideline for candidate participation. It means registered candidates who receive at least five per cent of the popular vote in the electoral district are eligible to take part.
The studio audience is limited and will see a panel of 10 local stakeholders from a variety of sectors and the community was invited to submit questions in advance.
