SAS reports fatal incident at its Holt Mine

TORONTO - (May 24, 2015) - St Andrew Goldfields Ltd. (TSX-SAS) (OTCQX-STADF), ("SAS" or the "Company") is saddened to advise of a fatal incident that occurred May 23, 2015, at its Holt Mine, located 125 km east of Timmins, Ontario.
 
A Company employee, Alexie Dallaire-Vincent, 22, was involved in an underground rail haulage accident, which fatally injured her.

The Ontario Provincial Police have attended onsite, and in conjunction with the Ontario Ministry of Labour, and the Company, all parties are proceeding with the investigation of this tragic incident.

"We are deeply saddened by this news and our sincere condolences go out to the family, fellow workers, and friends", said Duncan Middlemiss, President & CEO of SAS.

"SAS is co-operating with the ongoing investigation, as well as providing support to family and employees at the mine site.
