The Public Works Department wishes to advise that the Public Works Department Road Plowing Equipment and Crews, and Contractor Supported Operations, will be deployed across the entire City of Timmins, on Wednesday March 4th, at approximately 11:30PM.
A purpose for the operation is to remove snow pack conditions on secondary streets. With the milder conditions over past week, the snow pack on affected streets is starting to break-up and soften.
In view of forecasted milder weather conditions, the overnight snow removal crew shift planned for tonight will switch to a maintenance plowing shift. Roads, parking lots, and sidewalks will be addressed.
Hopefully spring will soon be here!
A reminder that the Winter Parking Ban is effect and parking on the street is not permitted on any day, between the hours of 23:30hrs to 07:30hrs, from November 1st through April 30th.
