Timmins Police are asking motorists to avoid the Highway 655 and Ross Avenue area after a dump truck with its box up took down hydro wires today.

Crews currently working to repair cable wires downed by a dump truck with box left up in area of Hwy 655 and Ross Ave (entrance to snow dump).
Hydro crews are also on scene as there are hydro wires located above those taken down.
Road is currently open but parking lot is closed - please avoid area if possible and don't attempt to enter parking lot.
