Update: October 1, 2014 - Westmount will be closed from the intersection of Westmount and Emilie Street to the intersection of Airport Road and Westmount. The road will be closed from Wednesday, October 1, 2014 to Friday, October 3, 2014.
Update: September 28th, 2014 – Airport Road at Westmount Blvd. is restricted to one lane from September 29th to October 3rd, 2014 for the construction of turning lanes. Flag persons will be present to control the flow of traffic in both directions. The west side of Airport Road will be closed during this period.
Friday, September 19th, 2014 - The Engineering Department wishes to inform motorists and pedestrians that intersection improvement work is scheduled to begin on Monday, September 22nd at the intersection of Westmount and Airport Road. The work is required in order to provide turning lanes for the new Best Western Hotel and future Tim Horton location. Motorists should be made aware that lane closures will be required at various times during this project. To minimize delays during any of your commutes, alternate routes should be considered.
